Tolf the Maimed

Tolf the Maimed

Epic · Void · HP · Orcs

Tolf the Maimed is an Epic Void HP champion of the Orcs, introduced in Patch 4.50 with unusual mechanics: none of his abilities can score critical hits, freeing his build entirely from Critical Rate or Critical Damage investment.

Core Strengths & Abilities

HP-Percent Pure Damage: His A2, Cut Wide Open, cuts a non-Boss target's HP down to 50% with pure damage that ignores all DEF, or applies a 1-turn Stun instead if the target is already below 50% HP; against Bosses, the skill instead scales its damage from his own max HP.

Shield-Draining Passive: His passive, Armor Cracker, cuts all enemy Shield values by 50% at the start of every turn and adds that same amount to his own max HP (up to 25% of his max HP), giving him a unique way to both counter shields and grow tankier.

Self-Sustaining Basic Attack: His A1, Blade Hand Butcher, hits twice and heals him for 30% of the damage dealt on each hit, adding solid personal sustain.

Key Weaknesses

Extremely Niche Application: His unique HP-halving mechanic is primarily useful for disabling a single tough target, limiting his broader usefulness across most content.

Weak Ratings Across the Board: Scoring 2-5 in nearly every mode, including a 2 in Chimera, Clan Boss, and Hydra, Tolf remains a situational pick rather than a core roster piece.

With his best rating a 5 in Arena, Tolf the Maimed is best reserved as a niche tool for disabling a single tough target in Arena or Doom Tower, with some solo potential in Shogun's Grove.
