The Scarecrow

The Scarecrow

Legendary · Spirit · Support · Undead Hordes

The Scarecrow is one of five champions from the Echoes of Oz campaign event, joining the Undead Hordes with an unusual kit combining a cheat-death passive, a single-target revive, and stat-manipulation buff/debuff combos.

Core Strengths & Abilities

Self-Revive with Team Cleanse: His passive, True Brains, revives him with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter whenever he's killed, then removes all debuffs from every ally, and once any ally has died in the battle, he becomes immune to Fear, True Fear, Provoke, and Petrification.

Single-Target Revive with Sustain: His A3, All Stitched Up, revives an ally with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter while placing Block Damage on them for 2 turns, plus a 25% Fortify buff on the whole team, giving him a strong secondary revive that pairs well with his own self-revive for duoing bosses like the Sand Devil.

Stat-Manipulation Debuff Combo: His A1, Crow Hunter, hits twice, with each hit carrying a 50% chance (75% booked) to place either Decrease RES or Decrease ACC for 2 turns, both becoming unresistible once any ally has died in the fight, while his A2, Smart Thinking, grants a full team of Increase RES and Increase ACC while shaving 1 turn off all ally cooldowns except his own.

Key Weaknesses

Buff Uptime Can Be Fragile: Maintaining his stat-boosting combos requires careful timing, and any gap in uptime can be costly, potentially requiring a dedicated buff-duration extender to keep them consistent.

Diminishing Returns for High-Stat Teams: Champions who already meet their ACC or RES thresholds without his buffs gain comparatively little benefit from his kit, reducing his value in already-optimized rosters.

Rated 9 in Chimera and 8 across Dragon, Hydra, Ice Golem, and Overall User, The Scarecrow is best used as a backup-revive and stat-manipulation support for progression players still working toward ACC and RES thresholds.
