Spymaster

Spymaster is a Rare Force HP champion of the Bannerlords, added during the February 2022 Valentine Fusion as part of the Karato Foxhunter fusion line. His weak damage multipliers make him mostly a utility piece rather than a real damage dealer.

Core Strengths & Abilities

AoE Block Buffs: His A2, Directed Sabotage, hits all enemies with a 50% chance (60% booked) to place a Block Buffs debuff for 2 turns, useful utility against Hydra Clan Boss and in Arena where denying enemy buffs matters.

Provoke with Counterattack: His A3, Cloak and Dagger, grants himself Counterattack for 2 turns and has a 75% chance (100% booked) to place a 1-turn Provoke debuff on two random enemies, giving him a way to redirect enemy attacks onto himself.

Durable HP Build: As an HP-scaling champion, he is relatively easy to keep alive, which suits him for absorbing hits in Faction Wars.

Key Weaknesses

Weak Damage Output: His multipliers across all three skills are notably low, meaning even when his debuffs land, he contributes little raw damage to a fight.

Poor Ratings Almost Everywhere: Scoring 1-2 in most modes, including a 1 in Amius and Iron Twins, Spymaster is largely outclassed outside his niche Block Buffs utility.

With his best rating a 5 in Hydra, Spymaster is only really worth using for his AoE Block Buffs against Hydra Clan Boss, otherwise best left in the vault.
