Rugnor Goldgleam

Rugnor Goldgleam

Epic · Void · Attack · Dwarves

Rugnor Goldgleam is an Epic Void-affinity Attack champion of the Dwarves, introduced during the festive fusion of December 2020 as one of the Epics required to fuse Pyxniel of the High Elves. His thesis is a single-target debuffer whose defensive tools come at real personal cost.

Core Strengths & Abilities

Defense Shred & Leech: His A3, Gleam of Avarice, grants himself Increase ATK before attacking and carries a 75% chance (100% booked) to apply both a 25% Weaken and a 60% Decrease DEF debuff, while his A1 has a 50% chance (60% booked) to apply Leech — a strong combination for Clan Boss, Spider Den, Faction Wars bosses, and Sorath in Doom Tower. His passive, Dire Grudge, cuts his A3's cooldown every time he loses 15% of his HP, letting him cycle his best ability faster under pressure.

Key Weaknesses

Self-Damaging Shield: His A2, Gold-Mad Frenzy, sacrifices 15% of his own Max HP — even through Shield or Block Damage buffs, and even if it would kill him — to fill his Turn Meter and grant himself an unremovable Shield, making it a genuinely risky skill to use. His base Defense is also very low, making him hard to keep alive in extended fights despite the Shield.

With a maxed Spider Den rating and strong Clan Boss and Chimera scores, Rugnor Goldgleam is a solid single-target debuffer for demanding PvE content, provided his self-damaging kit is managed carefully.
