Pythion

Pythion

Legendary · Force · Support · Lizardmen

Pythion joined the Lizardmen faction as the January 2023 Fragment Fusion champion, arriving with a reputation as one of the strongest fusion releases in the game's history — a genuine rival to Duchess Lilitu's long-standing Arena dominance. His thesis is total team protection: cleansing, reviving, and mitigating damage to make his side nearly impossible to grind down.

Core Strengths & Abilities

Debuff Cleanse & Sustain: His A2, Shed Skin, strips every debuff from all allies on a cooldown that drops to 3 turns once booked, healing them for 10% of Max HP plus an extra 5% for each debuff removed, then locks in a 2-turn Block Debuffs buff — an outstanding answer to heavy debuff teams and bosses alike.

Team Revival: His A3, Immortal Serpent, revives every fallen ally at 50% HP and Turn Meter while granting a 25% Strengthen buff, triggering only once an ally has died and making him especially strong on Arena Defense. His passive then reduces incoming damage to allies by 5% per buff they carry, stacking up to 25% — mirroring the mitigation strength that made Duchess Lilitu so dominant.

Key Weaknesses

Long Revive Cooldown Without Books: Immortal Serpent starts at a steep 7-turn cooldown, only falling to 4 turns once fully booked, so an unbooked Pythion can't lean on his signature revive nearly as often.

With top ratings across virtually every mode — Amius, Dragon, Ice Golem, and overall user score all maxed — Pythion stands as one of the most complete defensive cornerstones in the game.
