Headsman

Rare · Spirit · Attack · Sacred Order

Headsman is a Rare Spirit Attack champion from the Sacred Order faction, a medieval executioner whose axe drains life from those who invade his lands. In practice he is a below-average pick whose main hook — inconsistent Heal Reduction — rarely justifies investment beyond an early roster gap.

Core Strengths & Abilities

Heal Reduction Pressure: His A2, Headman's Due, is an AoE hit with a 30% (50% once booked) chance to apply a 100% Heal Reduction debuff for 2 turns, on a brief 3-turn cooldown. His passive, Judged Guilty, then adds 15% bonus damage against any target already under Heal Reduction, giving him a small niche against healing-heavy bosses like Amius or the Nether Spider.

Minor Crowd Control: His A1, Public Execution, hits one enemy twice, each hit carrying only a 10% (20% booked) chance to apply a 1-turn Fear debuff — a low-odds, short-duration effect that offers little reliable lockdown.

Key Weaknesses

Low, Unreliable Proc Rates: Even fully booked, his signature Heal Reduction only lands half the time, and his Fear chance tops out at 20% per hit, so none of his utility can be counted on turn to turn.

Weak Across the Board: His ratings reflect this — nothing above a 5 (Amius), and mostly 1s and 2s across Arena, Clan Boss, Hydra, and the Doom Tower bosses.

Headsman is, at best, a stopgap for early Faction Wars progress against healing bosses, with no real place in a developed roster.
