Gloril Brutebane

Rare · Spirit · Attack · Dwarves

Gloril Brutebane is a Rare Spirit Attack champion from the Dwarves faction. The source guide is blunt about him — a terrible champion not worth your time — and his kit and ratings largely bear that verdict out.

Core Strengths & Abilities

Decrease DEF Chances: His A1, Scale Hacker, hits twice with each hit carrying a 40% chance once booked of placing a 30% Decrease DEF debuff for 2 turns. It is only the lesser 30% version, but two rolls per turn give him some chance of softening a target.

Debuff-Scaling Damage: His A2, Prey Acquired, gains 5% damage for each debuff on the target, on a 3-turn booked cooldown, so he pairs best with heavy debuffers who load enemies up before he strikes.

Minor Crit Support: His A3 places a 15% Increase C.RATE buff on all allies for 2 turns — but only if the attack lands a critical hit, and it is merely the weakest version of the buff.

Key Weaknesses

Weak Everything: Every effect he has is the low-value variant, his team buff is conditional on a crit, and he brings no control or sustain. The ratings agree: Amius and Iron Twins (1), Fire Knight and Hydra (2), Arena (3), with nothing above a 4.

Gloril has no real home beyond very early progression, where his Decrease DEF chances can fill a gap until literally any alternative arrives.
