Executioner

Executioner

Rare · Magic · Defence · Knight Revenant

Executioner is a Magic affinity Rare from the Knight Revenant faction who was once a go-to campaign farmer before a nerf reduced his standing, though he still holds some value as a speed controller for a Rare champion.

Core Strengths & Abilities

Turn Meter & Speed Control: His A2, Tumult, is an AoE attack on a 4-turn cooldown (3 once booked) that cuts enemy Turn Meter by 20% and carries a 50% chance (75% booked) to place a 15% Decrease SPD debuff for 2 turns, giving him respectable wave-clear and speed disruption for his rarity.

Self-Sustain & Control Setup: His A3, Schiltron, self-applies a 60% Increase DEF buff alongside Counterattack for 3 turns on a 7-turn cooldown (5 booked), boosting his survivability and creating more openings to land the 15% chance (30% booked) Stun from his A1 basic attack.

Key Weaknesses

Low Base Chances Without Books: His control effects lean heavily on books to become reliable — the A1 Stun sits at only 15% unbooked, and even the A2 slow chain needs full investment to hit 75%, making him inconsistent for a free-to-play roster.

Fading Relevance: His ratings for Clan Boss (3) and Arena (4) reflect his diminished role now that stronger speed-control Rares and Epics exist.

Executioner fits best in early Faction Wars progression or the Magic Rare Secret Room, and can situationally help against non-immune bosses in Dragon, Fire Knight, Ice Golem, and Spider content.
