Esme the Dancer

Esme the Dancer

Legendary · Force · Support · Barbarians

Esme the Dancer is a Legendary Force Support champion from the Barbarians who arrived as the February 2025 fusion, paired with partner champion Modo of the Peal. She brings a dense mix of buffs and debuffs geared toward disrupting enemy buffs and controlling Turn Meter, playing like a Weaken-focused answer to Uugo with extra utility layered on top.

Core Strengths & Abilities

Turn Meter Redirection: Her passive, Beguiling Moves, boosts the Turn Meter of her team's highest-Attack ally by 50% whenever she's hit, rewarding a build that draws enemy attacks toward her (such as pairing with a Provoke set).

Enemy Buff Denial: Her A2, Earthdancer, is an AoE attack with a 75% (100% booked) chance to place Weaken and Block Buffs for 2 turns while cutting all enemies' Turn Meters by 20% (or stealing it instead, if Modo of the Peal is present).

Buff Removal Backup: Her A3, Blessing of the Sands, grants allies Increase Accuracy and Increase Speed while carrying a 75% chance to remove all enemy buffs (or steal them with Modo present), giving her two separate tools against enemy buffs.

Key Weaknesses

Short Buff Uptime: Her ally buffs last only 1-2 turns against multi-turn cooldowns, so she benefits significantly from a dedicated Buff Extension teammate to maintain coverage.

Esme rates strongly for Hydra and Chimera content thanks to her buff denial and Turn Meter control, with a promising fit for upcoming Faction Wars content as well.
