Drokgul the Gaunt

Drokgul the Gaunt

Legendary · Spirit · Support · Ogryn Tribes

Drokgul the Gaunt joined the Ogryn Tribes faction as a Fragment Collector champion in September 2020. He's a Legendary Spirit Support built around Shield mechanics, offering team protection that underdelivers slightly on its retaliation promise.

Core Strengths & Abilities

Buffing and Emergency Protection: His A2, Eldritch Ground, places a 50% Increase ATK and 60% Increase DEF buff on all allies for 2 turns, cycling on a 3-turn cooldown once booked. It also grants Block Damage for 1 turn to any ally under 30% HP, giving vulnerable teammates a safety net.

Shield-Based Sustain: His A3, Runestone Blessing, places a Shield on all allies worth 15% of his MAX HP for 3 turns. When that Shield expires, is removed, or is broken by damage, allies are healed for 15% of his MAX HP and counterattack the attacker who broke it, though this counterattack trigger only fires on a damage-based break.

Basic Control: His A1 carries a modest 20% chance (40% booked) to Stun for 1 turn, giving him minor single-target disruption alongside his support tools.

Key Weaknesses

Inconsistent Counterattack Trigger: The retaliation mechanic on his Shield only activates when the Shield is broken by an enemy attack, not when it naturally expires or is removed, making this signature piece of his kit unreliable in practice.

Niche A3 Value: Despite the flashy concept, his shield-break mechanics don't consistently pay off, limiting how much value his ultimate provides relative to other support Legendaries.

Drokgul finds his footing in PvE waves and general boss content, offering solid if unspectacular support (Fire Knight 8/10, Clan Boss and Dragon 7/10) when better options aren't available.
