Denid The Tusk Knight

Denid The Tusk Knight

Rare · Void · Defence · Bannerlords

Denid the Tusk Knight is a Rare Void affinity defender from the Banner Lords faction, released alongside the Gretal Hagbane fusion. Disguised in the helmet of a fallen Skinwalker raider to hunt down those who once threatened his village, his thesis is straightforward: he's the only Rare champion able to bring the powerful Strengthen buff to the whole team.

Core Strengths & Abilities

Universal Strengthen: His A2, Boomstick, is an AoE attack that places a 25% Strengthen buff on all allies for 2 turns, on a 3-turn cooldown once booked. Strengthen reduces incoming damage team-wide, and among Epics only Morag Bronzelock matches this on a similarly short cooldown, making it a standout for a Rare-tier champion.

Provoke & Self-Shielding: His A1, Skull Mangler, carries a 30% base (40% booked) chance to place a 1-turn Provoke debuff, useful crowd control in Faction Wars, Cursed City, and against certain bosses like Magma Dragon. His passive, Pig-Headed, then grants him a Shield worth 10% of his MAX HP for 2 turns whenever he's hit by an enemy under his Provoke, giving him built-in self-protection while tanking hits.

Key Weaknesses

Low Base Chances & Limited Ceiling: Provoke's unbooked chance is only 30%, making it unreliable before investment, and his ratings across Arena, Iron Twins, and Amius are weak, reflecting a kit that offers little beyond its core Strengthen utility.

Denid rates best in Dragon and Ice Golem content, making him a budget-friendly Strengthen support for progression teams and PvE content where his provoke and self-shield add extra durability.
